According to news sources, a suspect from Utah got arrested for cashing a forged check. Reports reveal that the woman was caught red-handed by cops while doing the crime act at a West Wendover casino. Moreover, the incident took place more than a year ago.
After the arrest, the court sent Utah woman in Elko County Jail on Friday.
The woman suspect’s name is Trinity M. Horvath, who belongs from Lehi, Utah. Later on, the cops issued an arrest warrant. The 27 years old woman was arrested for multiple criminal charges, which include possession of methamphetamine, uttering, or possessing with intent to utter fictitious bill, note, or check, as well as other criminal charges like burglary.
The court also charged her for a gross misdemeanor with conspiracy to the uttering of a forged instrument.
As per the court’s documents, the 27 years old woman got arrested on February 27, 2019. She was caught by the police while attempting to cashing a check from Torres Construction at the Peppermill Casino and the amount of 578.24 USD. She revealed to the West Wendover Police that she did not know that the check was forged. She realized it after cashing it.
