The animated series Kung Fu Panda is very popular among people of all ages all over the world. The first part of the series was released in 2008 and was a huge success. Since then, DreamWorks Animation has treated the fans with two new sequels in the years 2011 and 2016. Kung Fu Panda is a perfect mixed-bag of martial arts, comedy, and animation.
This year also, we are expecting to see a new sequel of the famous Kung Fu Panda series. The new installment would be the fourth version and might be the last one too.

Release Date
Fans have been anxiously waiting for Kung Fu Panda 4 since 2016 when Kung Fu Panda 3 was released. Kung Fu Panda 3 was the best success for the franchise and it also aroused several questions in the minds of the viewers. The fourth sequel might have answers to all our questions.
But there is still no good news for the fans as the official release date of Kung Fu Panda 4 has not been announced yet.
A little longer to wait for any official announcement would be good though! Like all other films, filming of Kung Fu Panda 4 is also currently stopped because of COVID-19 with no updates from makers about when filming would resume, but we are expecting to hear good news as soon as the pandemic ends.

Earlier, there was a rumor of legendary film stars to voiceover for the characters of Kung Fu Panda 4 including names like Jackie Chan, Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, Dustin Hoffman, Bryan Cranston, and Lucy Liu. However, no official update has been announced yet. Voiceover from some of the amazing stars, well that sounds like music to my ears.
Expected Plot
The story of Kung Fu Panda 4 may start from where it was left in Kung Fu Panda 3. We would get answers to all our questions that aroused after watching the third part of the series. With each sequel, we get to know more about the characters. In the upcoming installment, we might get to know more about Po and his father.
In the previous installment, we saw father and son (Po) meeting to stay in a village Pandas. The plot of Kung Fu Panda 4 would revolve around Po and his father. Po might become the new master by learning Kung Fu from his father.

This is probably going to be the best news for fans. The CEO of DreamWorks Animation did mention in an interview that he has planned six films of Kung Fu Panda. Well, that’s a sigh of relief to see more sequels of Kung Fu Panda.
However, no official teaser of Kung Fu Panda 4 has been released yet and we might not get it this year.
