On Saturday at the New York Comic-Con panel, various trailers and first look of upcoming seasons and series got released virtually on the official YouTube channel. So those who attended the live event might have also watched the trailer of A Discovery of Witches season 2.
The plot of the series is set in a fantasy world where daemons, vampires, as well as witches pass as humans.

A Discovery of Witches release date and other updates
At New York Comic Con, A Discovery of Witches released its official trailer, which disclosed its premiere date as well.
The show will be releasing on January 8, 2021. It is a fantasy drama adapted from the first book of All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness. Apart from that, in the trailer, you can also see Matthew (Goode) and Diana (Palmer) travel back in time in 1590.
Diana arrives in Elizabethan London and tries to find the right teacher to assist her in mastering her skills as a witch. On the other hand, Matthew searches for the Book of Life in Elizabethan London.
The Congregation is suspicious of Matthew and Diana’s intentions, and it is trying to locate the two. The teaser of Discovery of Witches season 2 also shows the first look at Paul Rhys’ Andrew Hubbard, Sheila Hancock’s witch Alsop, as well as James Purefoy’s Philippe de Clermont.
However, it is really difficult to keep every character of the series in our minds. The first season of A Discovery of Witches has numerous characters but in the second season, they have added more characters to the list.
