Directed by the Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney, the show is about money, power, and politics. The series is created in a documentary form and has been unexpectedly appreciated by a lot of viewers and resonated with the audience. Therefore, after two successful seasons, the show is all ready to launch its third season.
The cinematographer has done a great job at capturing each moment with utmost creativity plus the series has a heartwarming narrative. With a great response from the audience, the show proves that it isn’t boring as most other documentaries usually are yet it, in fact, is quite the contrary.
The first season made its debut on 26th January 2020 and was a huge success. The second season aired on 11th March 2020 with 12 episodes and just like the first season the second one was also promising.
With the rise in corruption, scams, frauds and other such illicit activities making headlines in the newspapers on a regular basis, we wouldn’t be mistaken to expect another season if the show. If the third season is made then we can expect it to release some time around March 2021.
The series has been able to clearly demonstrated people’s greed for money, power, and fame thus bagging a nomination for the Critics’ Choice Documentary Award. The deeply connect with the audience in showcasing how corruption, money laundering, and the fight for power affects the lives of the ordinary people. Though there are no sources or revelations made regarding the plot of the third season we can look forward to the season only getting bigger and better.
