An 18-Year-old Amish woman Linda Stolzfoos has been abducted on 21st June and still missing from the last 3 months. Police are still on the search for Linda.
According to some proofs, a Pennsylvania man named Justo Smoker has been arrested on a suspicion of kidnapping the 18-year-old girl.
According to the police reports, just a week before police were able to get some evidence against the Smoker where they found that he had texted his brother almost 15 times with texts and images from 1 PM to 3 PM on 21st June and it is the exact duration when Linda was kidnapped.
Investigation Details
The police department took the help of the FBI to deduce this complicated case. The Police Detective, Chris Jones with the help of a search warrant checked the smartphone of Smoker.
The Police also tried to search for everything that belongs to him to obtain any kind of DNA proof which can lead them to the missing girl.
In the video footage, police have identified the car which was driven by a person like Smoker on 21st June. He approached a woman who matches the missing girl Linda. According to reports she was last seen around 12:40 pm, when she was heading to a group meeting and which she never made it.
As per the police, Smoker parked his car in a rural area and some witnesses testified that they have seen Linda in the passenger seat. On the same night, they searched the land and found her clothes which proves that she must be harmed.
Police have arrested Smoker on 10th July and he has been charged with felony charges of kidnapping. Smoker pleaded not guilty during the August sessions in the court.
Police has appointed many rescue teams for finding out the girl and there were photos released all over the city with hope to find her quickly. As of now, Smoker is held in jail and there will be further investigation on the 34-year-old accused for hiding any information on this kidnapping case.
