The much-loved Biscuit Week of the Great British Bake Off reappeared on the most recent version of the baking program, but the hopes of one contestant crumbled when they were disqualified from the series.

Makbul was sent home from the tent this week, a decision that did not go too well with a lot of fans, who were adamant that he should have continued, particularly after a good showing in the Technical Challenge.

The official Bake Off Twitter has posted a beautiful letter Mak has written paying tribute to the show and his time on it, just to make us all even more emotional after Mak’s sad departure from the tent.

There aren’t too many TV programs too put a country together. Just one stands out lately and it’s the Bake Off. A show of legendary magnitude and iconic significance, “he said.” A show of legendary magnitude and iconic meaning.

For Season 11 (2020), the stars aligned for me. The world was in chaos, so for me, Bake Off was all about 2020.

The honor of being chosen and heading in front of the country for my eccentric traits was amazing.

To be part of a show that was a beacon of light was an honor. There is still promise of baking.

By our goodness and compassion, let’s end injustice and inequality. GO OFF Cooking!

With one writing: “What a beautiful text. Go well Mak, a pleasure to watch!” and another commenting: “Sad to see Mak leave!! Legend. Write the book.” Fans responded with pleasure to Mak’s heartwarming message.

This week, there was better news for fellow baker Dave as he was crowned Star Baker after creating some coconut macaroons perfectly even for the Technical Challenge.

Next week, the remaining contestants tackle Bread Week as they strive to make soda bread and a very tricky dough-based Showstopper, the specialty of Judge Paul Hollywood.
