There has been no official confirmation from FX as to when fresh episodes of American Horror Stories will be released. However, given the show’s regular timetable, there is no reason to believe that the second season will arrive simultaneously as the first.
American Sports Story and American Love Story Ryan Murphy have said he’ll be producing for FX in July, will require the network to put in a lot of effort to be ready.
If Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, and John Carroll Lynch showed up in season 1, don’t be shocked if others show up for guest appearances in the second season.
Other newbies who were introduced this season may return for a second round. Candidate names include Ronen Rubinstein, Danny Trejo, Kaia Gerber, Aaron Tveit, Madison Bailey, Paris Jackson, and Kaia Gerber.
It’s less probable that Sarah Paulson will return due to her commitments to other Ryan Murphy productions, but it’s feasible that she may return to direct an episode of the spin-off series. Her role behind the camera was officially announced over a year ago.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but with the entire American Horror Story universe to explore, not to mention brand-new locations as well, there is much opportunity for a whole new set of stories to emerge in season two.
Future episodes of American Horror Story may revisit any of the past nine seasons, including Briarcliff Manor, the Florida Freak Show, and even Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies, which was featured in season one.
Even though Roanoke’s spin-off joked about Sarah Paulson’s genuine feelings for that particular season, we don’t anticipate her to return for another season.
However, it is unclear when the other video will be released without the Coven’s ability to foresee future events. Our best guess is that season two will premiere around 2022’s second quarter, most likely via Ryan Murphy’s Instagram and Twitter account.
A new season of American Horror Stories is coming to Disney+ in the UK on Wednesday, September 8. Double Feature airs on FX and Hulu in the United States.
