Movie Insider reports that “Gasoline Alley” will be aired in February 2022, but no formal launch date has been established. Edward Drake directs the picture. Aside from the awful 3 per cent, Rotten Tomatoes score for Frank Grillo-led sci-fi adventure picture “Cosmic Sin” previously this year, Drake also helmed Bruce Willis in the forthcoming survival drama “Apex,” slated for release in November. According to IMDb, Tom Sierchio created and directed the indie film “The Girl Who Invented Kissing” and is also an action artist.
Devon Sawa, the hero of “Little Giants” and “Final Destination” in the 1990s and early 2000s, is the protagonist of “Gasoline Alley”. We see Jimmy Jayne in Sawa’s portrayal of him as he attempts to clear his name after being accused of murder. Willis and Luke Wilson, who have only appeared in one other quick-and-dirty thriller before “High Voltage,” play the cops interrogating Sawa’s character. Stars in the supporting cast are Kat Foster, Steve Eastin, Johnny Dowers and Steve Eastin. In addition, Rick Salomon makes a cameo as Percy Muleen in the film.
As the title suggests, Gasoline Alley will be a noir-style vigilante drama about terrible men attempting to stop a much worse man. It’s about a crook who has become suspicion in an awful triple murder that he didn’t do, so he begins his amateur detective inquiry. Unfortunately, a few of his underworld associates need to be shattered before he can provide any useful information for those actual investigators who keep bugging him.
