Netflix has acquired the exclusive global streaming rights to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean through 2021. So everything you need to know about the new anime will be available on Netflix in December of 2021.
It’s the sixth storey arc and de facto fifth season of the world-famous JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime, which will premiere on Netflix in the fall. Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, a Diamond is Unbreakable spinoff, was the first JoJo animation designated as a Netflix Original.
Netflix’s YouTube account has released the official trailer for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, which confirms its December 2021 premiere date.
No release date has been set yet, but we’re confident it will be announced very soon. Unfortunately, the anime will only be available on Netflix except for Japan, where it will air on Tokyo MX, BS11, and MBS in January 2022.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s sixth arc, Stone Ocean, is officially the fifth season of the extremely acclaimed anime.
It’s the year 2011, and Jolyne Cujoh, the wrongly accused daughter of Jotaro Kujo, is sentenced to 15 years in a maximum-security jail. A century-old feud between her family and its greatest foe, DIO, is revealed to her while she is confined. Enrico Pucci wants to carry out DIO’s final wish.
Stone Ocean contains 158 chapters, therefore based on prior arcs, we should expect anywhere from 39 to 48 episodes to be released. Whether or not we’ll be waiting for more episodes shortly depends on how many will be released.
Three seasons of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure are available to view on Netflix in the United States. Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, Stardust Crusaders, and Diamond is Unbreakable are covered in the three seasons.
