‘American Crime Story: Impeachment’ has a brand new trailer that gives us a full look at the upcoming series, as well as a surprising amount of actors. We haven’t seen Beanie Feldstein’s Lewinsky before, nor have we seen Clive Owen and Sarah Paulson’s Bill Clinton and civil servant Linda Tripp. Owen continues, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” Tobin’s book, A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sextasy That Nearly Toppled a President, provided the inspiration for the show’s plot.

There were three key actors in the first impeachment proceedings in more than a century: Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones, and Linda Tripp Edie Falco, from The Sopranos, will play Hillary Clinton, while Billy Eichner, from The Lion King, will play Matt Drudge. Cobie Smulders will replace GLOW’s Betty Gilpin as Ann Coulter. FX will begin airing American Crime Story: Impeachment on September 7, 2021. In the United Kingdom, the release date has not yet been announced (UK).
