American Gods is a TV fantasy series following the story of Ex-Convict Shadow Moon who is hired by Mr. Wednesday to restore the old gods and defeat the new gods such as Technology and Media as they try to overthrow humanity.
The show has been nominated for many awards including Critics Choice Awards and has an IMDb rating of 7.8/10 and 76% in Tomatometer, Rotten Tomatoes.
Will there be a third season?
Yes! The show was renewed for the third season in March 2019 and the production began in October 2019. The filming of the show was supposed to be completed by March 2020.
But some delay may be caused due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The show can be expected to be released by the end of this year on the Staz network!
The cast of American Gods Season 3
Ricky Whittle will be playing the protagonist, Shadow Moon. Other acclaimed actors such as Emily Browning, Yetide Badaki, Bruce Langley will also be cast.
The plot of American Gods Season 3
At the end of season 3, we saw Shadow Moon riding a bus leaving Cairo. When his ID was being checked by the officials he realized that his ID belonged to someone called Michael Ainsel of Lakeside, Wisconsin.
So in this season, we can expect to see Shadow’s adventures in Lakeside as he hides from the Gods.
