The first official American Horror Story spin-off film, American Horror Stories, will premiere in July on the FX on Hulu website.

According to Deadline, John Landgraf, the former chairman of FX Networks, announced the news prior to Disney’s upfront presentation today.

Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s episodic anthology series will consist of eight episodes. Each episode, according to Murphy, will delve into different “horror stories, legends, and lore.”

Next year, a second season of eight additional episodes is scheduled to air. The cast of American Horror Stories, as well as plot specifics and more

Will It Be Connected To The Main Show’s Season? 

Yes, American Horror Stories is set in the same world as American Horror Story, so there will be a lot of crossover between the two shows. For example, the first half of the Halloween-themed two-parter takes place at the notorious Murder House, also known as the Rosenheim Mansion in real life.

Who Are The Members Of The Cast? 

According to reports from the set, AHS alums Evan Peters and Taissa Farmiga will reprise their roles as Tate Langdon and Violet Harmon in the pilot episodes, though they will not be the highlight.

Rather, newcomers Kaia Gerber (daughter of model Cindy Crawford), Paris Jackson (daughter of Michael Jackson), and Sierra McCormick steal the show in the first two episodes. Matt Bomer, who starred in American Horror Story: Freak Show and Hotel, will be joining them in a completely new role.

 Who Is In Charge Of The Directions? 

The first two episodes of the spin-off will be directed by Loni Peristere, who has directed many classic American Horror Story episodes (including Devil’s Night from season five).

Sarah Paulson also announced that she will be directing an episode, but considering how busy her schedule is right now, it’s unclear if this is still the case.

Is It Possible For Me To Watch It From Anywhere In The World? 

On the Disney+ Star channel, American Horror Stories will be streamed globally.

In July, the first season of American Horror Stories will debut on FX on Hulu, as well as internationally on Disney+ Star.
