Ana De Armas tells about its role

Ana De Armas says that Paloma, her No Time To Die character is no stereotypical girl of the Bond that calls her more rational and authoritative than normal. The next Bond film is expected to be the 5th and final one for Daniel Craig and almost fifteen years since he was first portrayed at Casino Royale.

Craig and director Cary Joji Fukunaga talked in this film about adding the emotional stakes of Bond to its relation with Dr. Madeleine Swann of Lea Seydoux. By focusing on Swann, Billie Eilish’s theme video reinforced this.

More about it

However in No Time To Die, Seydoux is not the only lady of Craig. His cast, as a fellow ’00’ Agent, is joined by Lashana Lynch and his CIA agent, Paloma, fatal, who assists Bond in his quest. Lynch already talked of how Bond’s past of poor women in No Time To Die is fixed by Nomi’s characters.

And she isn’t that shy either, judging by De Armas’ action scenes on the trailers that show her two-waves and jumping in the air to knock out a bad guy in the face. You can watch the trailer by clicking on the given link:

De Armas has now proven its primary interest that her character is not a stereotype. As she took on the role she says instead that she wanted Paloma to be “empowered” and “realist,” contrasted in particular to past girls from Bond who was traditionally left to sleep for Bond and have then been overlooked.

Based on the photos we have seen so far, with Paloma playing Bond rather than a traditional girl with cynical sidekicks, De Armas’s worries seem to have been resolved.

However, high heels and caps, along with their pristine form, prove that they perform the conventional role of a Bond girl at least partially. De Armas, along with an ensemble cast that included Craig, was the breaking star in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out.

Conclusion

But I hope, as she has asked, she is more profound and more complicated than a sexy assassin, perhaps a double-cross Bond. The Bond franchise has been used by viewers several times, and it’s a familiar and surprising cliche.

While it turns out Paloma operates closely with the criminal Safin of Rami Malek, it sounds like no time to die offers him more than a stunning look.
