Anime shows have a very unique and different fan base. The anime fans are like people from a parallel universe where real life things do not exist. Well, these fans have good reasons to be like that as the drawings, the characters, the stories and the voice over artists make anime shows things of parallel universe. Of lately, the anime universe as gone into mourning as someone very close to them has died.

THE NEWS

The anime universe is in grief as Kirby Morrow, an important and popular anime voice over artist has died at the age of just 47 years on 18th November 2020. Kirby was a Canadian actor.

He was famous as an anime voice over artist for the English dubbed version of the shows. His most memorable voice over characters are Cyclops from X-Men: Evolution, Goku from Dragon Ball Z, Cole from LEGO Ninjago series, Miroku from Inuyasha, Trowa from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.

The recent shows he was part of include Inuyasha sequel Yashahima: Princess Half-Demon and LEGO Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar. The last one was a series for children that aired in US on Nickelodeon. The news of his death was shared by his brother Casey through a Facebook post. The cause of his death has not been disclosed yet. 

The year 2020 is turning out to be a very bad year indeed full of sad and remorseful news with spots of happiness here and there. We all have to be the support systems of one another in these difficult times.
