After facing very disappointing reviews for much-awaited movie Justice League, DC Comics came up with one of the greatest hits in 2018 named Aquaman. The story was about the king of the sea which revolves around solo live-action and became a billion-dollar hit with a competition with movies like Bumblebee and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse. Warner Bros decided to make a sequel of Aquaman soon after seeing the grand success of the movie. Fans are very excited to watch the sequel.
Release Date Updates for the Sequel
The release date for Aquaman 2 is decided to be 16th December 2022 as makers do not want fans to wait for a long time for the sequel as it would lead to a decrease in the interest of viewers and fans. Although the 4 years of a gap is enough for the makers for the sequel according to the logistics of the movie and Producer Peter Safron do not want any hurry in the making.
The Plot of Aquaman2
Aquaman was a story that revolved around the origin of Aquaman and the classic villain Black Manta. Claiming the throne of Atlantis to be under him, Arthur fulfills his destiny. It is expected that the sequel story will revolve around finding the true extent of Aquaman’s arch-enemy. The Cast for the Sequel
Jason Momoa has played his role as Aquaman very well and everyone knows that he will continue his role in the sequel. Also, Amber Heard as Meera and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Menta can be seen as a part of the movie. Patrick Wilson has also hinted that he will also continue his role as Orm. Although Warner Bros has not disclosed any information about the cast some names are expected to be seen in the sequel reprising their roles.
