Hey Pals, I have a bitter news for you all today.

Arrowverse’s popular show Black Lightning is confirmed to be coming to an end with its fourth season. The revelation was made by The CW, earlier this week.  Executive producer who is also the showrunner Salim Akil seemed to be pretty emotional.

Fans were taken to some flashback memories while the showrunner was making the statement. He expressed how he remembered the start and was confident that Jefferson Pierce and his family of some very powerful black women would be an exclusive addition to this superhero game. He was grateful to all the comic book fans for showering so much love and positivity to the series.

Akil also took to the media to thank the wonderfully phenomenal cast, the team of writers, the production houses and the support staff. He also mentioned the name of the key players, who were Greg Berlanti, Peter Roth and Mark Pedowitz.

He ended his speech on a very positive notes where he hinted fans about his connection and collaboration with CW and embarking a new journey with the story of the Painkiller. He asked all the Arrowverse enthusiasts to not lower their energy and to rather keep boosting up their enthusiasm.

And we promise them that we will be doing so, won’t we?
