Hello Avatar Fans! We have got something amazing for you!

Avatar: The Last Arender is a hit American animated TV show that was rediscovered this year, during the mass quarantine, as it was uploaded on Netflix in the USA.

The plot follows the story of Aang, an air bender who wakes up from a 100-year long nap and moves on to master all the elements to become a full-fledged avatar with the help of his friends.

Following its massive success, a sequel to the series was released called the Legend of Korra, following the life of the next avatar Korra and is set 70 years after the end of the original.

You can watch the trailer of the series here-

Though the series itself was a huge success with a whopping score of 8.4/10 on IMDb and 93% average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, the lead Korra is not as beloved as Aang. As a character, she seems quite flat without much character development or backstory. This led fans to root for Aang even more.

But surprisingly, Korra was able to bend in the Spirit World, something Aang couldn’t do! This may come as a shock to some and make them wonder if Korra is a better avatar than Aang?!

Well, frankly, her ability to bend in the spirit world doesn’t have anything to do with how powerful she actually was. She entered the spirit world through the portal that Kuvira’s exploding weapon made, unlike Aang who went in there through meditation.

If you watched the show fully you might even remember Unalaq telling Korra how she would’ve been able to bend if she hadn’t entered through meditation.

Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me. At first I wrote fiction. It gave me a chance to live the different lives I’ve always wanted to. The way my friends reacted when they read my story gave me the greatest of joys. As I grew older, I realised that there are thousands of stories of people around me that deserved to be told. Then I started incorporating their stories to my fictional stories. Over the time, I leaned more towards article writing. I have always felt that writing is my super power. A power I could wield to bring joy and comfort to me and the people I care about.
