There is amazing news for all the AC/DC fans out there; they are going to be back in black! Yes, you heard it right! The band is reuniting. AC/DC has confirmed their reunion along with all of their members; Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd, and Cliff Williams, you name it and they’ll be there!
The band was disintegrated for over the last several years, but they have recently marked their return with an announcement on social media on Wednesday.
The Australian rock band was founded by the Scottish born brothers, Malcolm and Angus Young in the year 1973.
All of their music has been a fan’s favorite and it is quite frankly too difficult to pick out the bests but some of their albums are, Powerage, Rock or Bust, Black Ice and obviously, Back in Black.
The band’s official twitter page tweeted, “ARE YOU READY?” along with the hashtag #PWRUP and also a photo of the reunited members.
Brian Johnson, the band’s lead vocalist who had left the group in 2016 after experiencing loss of hearing, will be joined by Cliff Williams on guitar, Phil Rudd on drums, Angus Young on lead guitar and Stevie Young on rhythm guitar.
There have been numerous rumors swirling about the group already being done with recording a new album together. Over the summer, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister has claimed that the album was wrapping up, but had been delayed due to the outburst of corona virus pandemic.
Their last album as a group was called “Rock or Bust,” and came out six years ago, back in 2014.
No tour dates have yet been announced or have been rumoured.
