The movie tells us the story of a young ambitious woman, Anna Bludso, played by Elle Lorraine. She wants to be successful in the world of music television which is badly affected by an image-obsessed mindset.
To get rid of that mindset, she put hard efforts. The films show’s the 80’s where Anna is cursed with haunted hair. The hair helped Anna to give a rise in her career. It also kills people who come in her way.
It seems like the director Justin Simien cares a lot about racial discrimination. Last year he presented ‘Dear White People’ which is based on the ‘post-racial’ society of today. And this year, he has returned to Sundance with a thrilling horror movie ‘Bad Hair’, Hulu will be the service provider for the viewers who are interested in a hair-centric horror thriller.
What is the Cast for the movie?
Along with Elle Lorraine, the movie is casting Vanessa Williams, Lena Waithe, Kelly Rowland, Laverne Cox, Jay Pharoah, Blair Underwood, James Van De Beek, and Usher Raymond.
