Emmerdale’s Vinny Dingle is seen taking a step back on tonight’s episode (April 19) to normality after attending the funeral of his father. Vinny finally acknowledge the abusive behaviour of his dad Paul Ashdale and we saw Vinny (played by Bradley Johnson) reaching aa breakthrough recently regarding the same.

After making amends with his mum Mandy (Lisa Riley) in Monday’s episode, we finally see him in a better frame of mind. He also visits his girlfriend, Liv Flaherty (played by Isobel Steele) to make amends. After Paul died, Vinny pushed both of these women away from his life but is now more open to both these ladies and certainly seems to accept help from them.

Caring Liv then suggests to move back into Mill Cottage along with her and Aaron so that everything gets back to normal sooner or later. Vinny is unsure whether he should take this step as he does not want to leave Mandy alone during these difficult times. It is a big move for him and he does possess some guilt inside relating to the matter.

However, putting everything aside, he accepts the big offer and moves, hoping that his relationship with Liv would soon get back to normal and fully on track. In the meantime, we hear the conversation between Mandy and Lydia Dingle (played by Karen Blick) who suggests Mandy to let Vinny visit a grief counsellor after the events that have taken place recently.

Mandy does agree with her though process but strongly believes that he should work this out at his own pace and this would rather help him to get back on track then talking to a professional about the same.
