The series based on the bestselling novel trailer is finally released by Netflix for Shonda Rhimes’ Bridgerton. The storyline of the drama revolves around Lady Whistledown, voiced by Julie Andrews, the author of gossip newsletter Lady Whistledown’s society paper.
The voiceover narration warns “You do not know me and never shall, but be forewarned. Dear reader: I certainly know you”. The other stars of the show include Phoebe Dynevor, Rege-Jean Page, Adjoa Andoh, Ruby Barker, Jonathan Bailey and Golda Rosheuvel.
Releasing Date
Netflix dropped the trailer along with the release date of Shonda Rhimes series Bridgerton. The show will start streaming on December 25.
Plot
The series set in the peak age of Regency London high society, Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton, who is the elder daughter of a powerful family. Daphne wants to follow her parents’ path and find true love, but she lacks in the marriage market. She later meets the desirable but rebellious bachelor Duke of Hastings.
The novel’s story also focuses on love, friendship, trust and loyalty among all.
