The news helped dispel all the rumors about next season. Its official now that season 8 is going to be released soon. However, the exact dates of release are not made official, it is expected that the show might be returning sooner than expected.
However, the global pandemic COVID 19 could be a strong factor that could cause further delays and might lead to further delays. NBC’s schedule has confirmed that the viewers should be able to view their favorite show by the end of 2020.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a fictional story set on the New York City Police Department in Brooklyn. The series largely revolves around Jake Peralta who is a talented but immature NYPD detective of the Brooklyn 99 Precinct. He often comes into conflict with his new commanding officer, the serious Captain Raymond Holt.
Season 7 of the series premiered on February 6th, 2020 on NBC and had a total of 13 episodes. Considering that the show has recently been aired on NBC and Netflix, it is unlikely that the show will make its return soon. Makers of the show are particular that they want a show which will make people laugh and don’t want to turn it into a harrowing documentary.
The cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will season 8 will see Andy Samberg starring again as immature police detective Jake Peralta, alongside a superb ensemble including Melissa Fumero as Amy Santiago, Terry Crews asTerry Jeffords, Stephanie Beatriz as Rosa Diaz and Andre Braugher as the intimidating Captain Holt.
Fans missed Chelsea Peretti in Season seven and hopefully, season 8 is going to take care of the same. Chelsea’s character of Gina was immensely loved by the fans as her character is extremely funny. She was regularly featured in all the 6 seasons.
Hopefully, fans will be able to see all of their favorite characters of the series reprising their roles unless they are bounded by some crazy contracts from production. We expect all of them to return in season 8.
No Trailers are out yet and it will take a while for them to be aired, likely a month before the official release date. Be assured that you will get all the latest news about the award-winning show as soon as it is made official.
