BTS can be sure shot support for their fans: The music video for the new single “Dynamite” is already being viewed in millions. It has clearly gone viral with a record-breaking views count on YouTube.
The new single, new record: the K-Pop band BTS hit the bull’s eye once again with their music video for “Dynamite”. According to the US portal “Variety”, more than three million fans followed the video premiere on YouTube on Friday (August 21) live.
Official figures from the Internet video platform are still pending, but the record holder – the K-pop girl group Blackpink – has been overtaken by the seven musicians.
In comparison, only around 1.66 million viewers are said to have followed the video premiere of Blackpink’s single “How You Like That” live in June.
Will you get back another top spot?
Dynamite being the first completely English song from the K-Pop boy band is getting more love from the fans. This seems to be resonating with the fans – and BTS could possibly set the next record right away. If the music video for the new single continues to be clicked so vigorously, the musicians have a good chance of the most-viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours.
Furhermore, they were able to claim this title for themselves together with Halsey (25) and “Boy With Luv” in April 2019, but shortly afterwards had to cede it to Blackpink’s “How You Like That”.
The girl group’s track was viewed 86.3 million times in the first 24 hours. The song has recorded around 56.6 million views in the first 12 hours after its premiere.
