Camila Cabello’s Cinderella to release on a streaming platform rather than in cinemas

Cinderella is the movie fans were really excited about but apparently it has turned out that the movie would be the latest one to skip a cinema release. Instead, the movie is gearing up to premiere on a streaming platform! The musical rom-com has Camila Cabello in the lead role who would be making her acting debut with this one. Her previous works include her being a solo artist in the pop culture industry.

In addition to that, she has also been a member of Fifth Harmony. According to Dealine, the film would be streaming on Amazon Prime Video. This is after Sony Pictures gave in the film’s worldwide premiere rights to the streamer. However, there is no news regarding the release date of the film. The project was initially scheduled to arrive in cinemas sometime in July. Even prior to that, the project has seen many delays in its due course.

In addition to that, Sony Pictures have confirmed it that they would still be releasing the movie in China. The upcoming musical fairy tale movie has been written and directed by former 30 Rock writer Kay Cannon who is well known for giving birth to the Pitch Perfect franchise. In this movie, we would be witnessing the same tale yet again.

However, the twist this time would be the addition of music. The misery of the young character and her phenomenal opportunity of meeting her prince charming would be shown to you in musical form. Cinderella’s evil stepmother would be played by Frozen star Idina Menzel whereas her fairy godparent’s role will be played by Pose’s Billy Porter.
