Marvel actress Emily VanCamp playing the role of Sharon Carter in the MCU admits that her kiss with Captain America might have gone too far. The moment had been captured during Captain America: Civil War when we find the S.H.I.E.L.D agent going undercover AS Steve Rogers’ neighbour. The famous character of Steve Rogers has been played by Chris Evans.

VanCamp was seen reflecting over this scene while speaking to Collider which definitely did enrage a portion of the faithful marvel Cinematic Universe for about five long years. She said that, “You sort of trust and hope that it all makes sense in the end. I did have a few moments where I wondered, ‘Are we going too far with this? Should this be more of an amicable, Friendly moment?’ I didn’t really know. I don’t think any of us really knew”.

She further added, “I do not think it is anyone’s fault that it did not totally work in term of the story. I do not think anyone knew where that was headed or what we were going to do with that moment. It was a sweet moment as it was. It is a hard one to anwer because you do not want to sort of say, ‘Well, it was a terrible moment and it did not make any sense,’ because everyone’s just kind of doing the best they can to service the story in that moment, really.”

VanCamp was also seen reprising her role in the spin-off series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This also went on to give a suggestion to the audience that there had been some kind of reaction building with the help of their kiss.
