Carnival Row is an American web tele series based on Steampunk, Urban Fantasy, Neo-noir, and Political genre. It is created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham. Amazon Prime Videos has premiered it on Aug 30th, 2019. It was an instant hit thereafter and was renewed for season 2 in July 2019. 1st season was shot wholly in the Czech Republic in 108 (an interesting and mythical number) days than filming happened in Barrandov Studio, Prague. Locations were Liberec the chateaux in Frýdlant and Krnsko and at the Prachov Rocks (Prachovské skály) area.

The cast list is as huge as it can be for a very famed tele series including Orlando Bloom as Rycroft Philostrate, Cara Delevingne as Vignette Stonemoss, Simon McBurney as Runyon Millworthy, with so many other amazing performing artists. And as per speculations, many of the earlier cast will be seen again in the season 2 as well.

Rotten tomatoes have given 55% to the first season based on un-linkable scenes and stories.“Carnival Row” has been nominated for Best Genre Series at the 2020 Satellite Awards.

 The storyline:

The story revolves around some mythical creature who is on a run from their homeland which is devastated by war. They are gathering in a city that is already facing some trouble between locals and immigrants due to population burst. In the middle of all this, investigations are all times upon heinous murders, power-hunger games, incomplete love stories, and social adjustments which are eating away the mental peace whatever is left in the city.

We do not have any official dates for the release of Season 2 yet, although the production got started but stopped by global pandemic soon enough to finally conclude on any release date planning. No trailer is still out to predict any direction in the upcoming storyline. So we can easily assume that the release of Carnival Row season 2 would defer till 2021 at least.

Carnival Row Season 2: A Mythical Fantasy With A Lot Of Political Turns.

It is in the news that due to creative differences, Travis Beacham and Marc Guggenheim will not be working on Season 2 and Eric Oleson will be shortly joining the team. The season 1 ended with Philo embracing his Fae heritage and joined hands with Vignette and other Fae in Ghetto. There are still many unanswered questions and notions on where season 2 will start.
Maybe the 2nd season will be on the battle between Fae and humans?

Maybe the season will be all about Philo and his unimaginably impossible tactics in resolving cases?

What is the connection between Sophie and Jonah and their journey?

So it’s mostly unclear from where the story will pick up, but we are very hopeful that all the questions will be answered in Season 2 with some new plots, having amazing – mystical and heart-racing scenes and the upcoming episodes.

Stay safe, Stay at home, Stay cool and Stay tuned with us to get every new bit of the story.
