From Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, and X-Force, it seems now Ed Brisson wants a shift from the Marvel Mania, to some of the crime thrillers and thus he is planning to make an addition to his murder book series.
Thus he along with his friend, famous artist Lisandro Estherren are teaming up for creating their own graphic novel named, Catch and Release: A Murder Mystery. The series will also feature letters from Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou and is edited by Nate Cosby.
Brisson started working back in 2015 and Estherren was known for his Comic series. This series will follow up by showing a connection between different people’s lives which they will not even realize.
Murder book originally refers to a file of cases with homicide and murders, here the maker says, he desperately wanted to do something drifted from the original version of his. He was fascinated by crime comics, therefore Murder mystery was his next choice.
Crime fiction was always something he loved. For him, this pandemic was a golden opportunity to get back to writing and doing some creator-owned work. He said he caught up with his chance and had no wish to miss it.
