Celine Dion Is Preparing To Make Her Acting Debut With Outlander Favorite Sam Heughan

Celine Dion, the French Canadian singer, became famous all around the world with her hit “Heart will go on” in the 1997 movie Titanic. Ever since, she has made many more amazing music but that single is still the most famous work of hers. 

A couple of years ago, she tried her hands at cinema again by singing “Ashes” for the Deadpool 2 soundtrack and it was a huge hit as well. She said that she took the offer because her son was a huge Marvel fan! (you can listen to the song here-

Recently it was rumoured that she may be casted in a film as an actress. And Deadline has confirmed this piece of information. Celine Dion will be making her debut as an actress in a romantic comedy movie called “Text for You”, an English version of the German film SMS Fur Dich which is based on the novel by Sophie Cramer. It has also been announced that other famous actors such as Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan. Jim Strouse is directing from his own script, and Lauryn Kahnis is undertaking the most recent re-write. Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Esther Hornstein are producing.

The movie follows the story of a woman who upon losing her fiance, sends romantic texts to his old number which is now owned by another man who has gone through a similar heartbreak. Let’s hope the movie is as good as the plot.
