The 8th season of Chicago P.D. is right now underway with two episodes for this season already out. The main focus of these two episodes was on the issue of dealing with racist cops within the department and taking a stand against them. Though the situation is grim, the show will focus on the developing relationship of Upton and Halstead in the upcoming episode.
THE RELATIONSHIP
The couple was feeling the love friction since the end of season 7. The events of the first two episodes of season 8 have helped the two of them get closer. Yes it is quite not the time to get romantic given the present situation in the show and their friend Atwater is in trouble for taking a stand against the racist cops but the show creators reassured that things will get romantic in the coming episode.
Obviously the romance between the couple will not be steamy and all in just episode. They will start out with just simple dating. Both Upton and Halstead have been in relationships earlier though they were not happy in them so it is possible that the couple will go about the whole matter in a slow way. Before they get romantic even in simple dates, the couple will have to figure out what does the FBI offer coming Upton’s way means.
A lot is going to happen in Chicago P.D., when the show will return with its 3rd episode of season 8 on 6th January 2021 on the NBC network at 10pm. Be on the lookout!
