Christmas on the Square is one of the much-awaited movies that will be seen in 2020. It is the 2nd major film for Dolly Parton.
It was scheduled to be aired in 2019 but as the production schedule was delayed the expectations were hurt and now it was revealed that we will be having it on 22nd November 2020.
It is a part of Magnolia Hill Productions that has already launched many films involving Dolly Parton. They were behind Coat of Many Colors, a Christmas film that had been broadcast on NBC in 2015. A year later, a Christmas movie called “Many Colors – The Circle of Love” was aired. Check out the first look of the poster on Twitter:

Star cast of the movie
Christmas on the square star casts is Jeanine Mason, Josh Segarra, Mary Lane Haskell, and Mary Donnelly Haskell, to Jenifer Lewis to Handle William’s national jewels. Debbie Allen has directed a screenplay by Maria S. Schlatter and choreographed it.
Not 1, not 2, not 12 to go with it, but 14 original Dolly songs herself to go along in a nifty tie to her vacation album, for Dolly takes upon herself to save this winter alone.
The film reads in the synopsis: “Thanks to the local town people and a real angel that a wealthy and wretched woman returns into her hometown for evicting all but finds out about the true meaning of Christmas!”
