The latest Amazon Prime Video docuseries Clarkson’s Farm which first arrived on screen back in June is seeing Jeremy Clarkson swapping his cars for cattle in this latest project. The Grand Tour is what the tin says and it is exactly showing the same. The presenter’s journey as the proud owner of a 1,000-acre Cotswolds farm is being documented. But the lack of knowledge and experience about agriculture is clearly witnessed by the fans. Jeremy is entirely dependent on his team, who show him the ropes, and are more than happy to let him know when he’s made a blunder, which happens on a regular basis.

Season one premiered on July 11, it became one of the streaming platform’s most-watched series, with the show exploding on social media.

After the successful first season of this show, are there any plans to return with season second? Well, on July 1, 2021, Clarkson tweeted: “Dear everyone, there has been some speculation that a second series of our farming programme has been commissioned. It hasn’t but we are hopeful.”

There are more than 45,000 views on amazon and the great news is that 98% of them rated this show with a 5 star. This achievement can be considered as the signal for the revival of next season. According to Clarkson, large swathes of people have taken the time to pay his farm shop a visit, such is the popularity of the show.

The critics have praised this series with high appraisals, apart from a one-star review in The Guardian, which Clarkson responded to in a column for The Sun: “GREAT news – my new farming show has received a one-star review from The Guardian. This means you’ll almost certainly enjoy it.”

Officially, Amazon Prime has not commented on the state of the show, with the platform neither renewing nor cancelling it. Even if the second season of the show is to come, the chances are that it will not be available until next year.

Fans have taken to social media to ask where season two is, with many of them commenting about the show on Twitter.

One fan said: “Clarkson’s Farm was absolutely brilliant, we need Season 2 ASAP.”

Another fan added: “Just finished Clarkson’s Farm. Outstanding work @JeremyClarkson loved every minute of the ups and downs. Fingers crossed for Season 2!”

A third fan commented: “Finished watching Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime. I loved that show. I honestly hope they’re making a season 2.”
