COBRA is back for another thrilling season, with the political thriller premiering this week on Sky Max and NOW. It follows the UK’s top leaders as they are entrusted with dealing with yet another disaster threatening the country.

After season one told the narrative of extensive power outages wreaking havoc across the UK, resulting in violent upheaval, the COBRA committee needed to find a method to find the light.

Season 2 presents new and more difficult difficulties to government officials, which they must overcome for the sake of the population’s safety. Here’s all you need to know about the highly anticipated COBRA: CYBERWAR season 2.

Release Date And Casting

The six-episode series will be accessible on Sky Max and NOW beginning October 15. Prime Minister Robert Sutherland’s role is taken up by Robert Carlyle.

“Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of his personal life for me was where he was with his wife and his daughter because clearly there was an issue with lying to parliament with his wife and daughter perhaps going to prison for that,” he said of his character.

Anna Marshall, Chief of Staff, is played by Victoria Hamilton. “She’s right back in the midst of it, where she wants to be,” she said of Anna. Fraser Walker, the Head of Civil Contingencies, is played by Richard Dormer. He has starred in the TV shows Fortitude and Game of Thrones.

The cast is completed by David Haig, who portrays Foreign Secretary, Archie Glover-Morgan, Richard Pepple, who plays Home Secretary Joseph Obasi, Andrew Buchan, who plays Labour Party Leader Chris Edwards, and Alexa Davies, who plays Audrey Hemmings.

Plotline And Trailer

In Season 2, an assassination triggers a chain reaction of circumstances that results in the creation of an unseen foe. Prime Minister Robert Sutherland, his Chief of Staff Anna Marshall, and a team of experts have been entrusted with resolving the crisis.

Ben Richards conceived and wrote the series, which examines what happens when cyber assaults and fake news undermine democracy. There is, indeed! Here’s the first look at the next season.
