“Donda,” Kanye West’s latest album, is officially available. The US rapper Kanye West released his tenth studio album ‘Donda’ late on Sunday. Originally scheduled for release on July 24, 2020, Kanye’s album is titled for his late mother, Donda West. However, the album has been delayed indefinitely for a year, with possible release dates.
“Donda” has officially been launched on all music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music etc., following a listening party at Soldier Field on August 27. Though it was a few months away from its release, many people were talking about it.
People like The Weeknd, Lil Baby, Pusha T, Kid Cudi and Travis Scott were on the guestlist for the listening party, as well as Jay Electronica, Baby Keem, Young Thug and Lil Durk. Jay-Z and Lauryn Hill were also in attendance. There was also Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s wife, who is currently going through a divorce.
According to CNN, West’s event organisers have also vowed to set up a vaccination station at the pre-release streaming event in case fans need or want to get vaccinated on the spot. There will be 1,500 dosages available, according to TMZ. TMZ reported on Sunday that only 13 people had been vaccinated at the event.
As Kanye West prepares to promote his new album, Kim Kardashian posted videos of Donda on her Instagram account to promote the album — and she messed up. Kim was streaming the album on silent, according to the screengrab of the video she tweeted. Unfortunately, fans quickly noticed that the volume bar at the bottom of the screen was set to zero.
Kanye’s album ‘Donda’ has 26 tracks. There are also other versions of songs heard at the listening events. It runs for 1 hour and 48 minutes. When it came out, it was distributed by Def Jam Recordings through GOOD Music. Kim and Kanye’s fans have also discovered a few songs on the album that could hint to their relationship.
