CSI confirmed for revival series with more original cast

CBS has formally greenlit a restoration of CSI, with unique cast individuals set to return for it. 

The continuation arrangement, named CSI: Vegas, will be set six years after the first show finished in 2015. 

The new arrangement will see unique cast individuals William Petersen return as Gil Grissom and Jorja Fox as Sara Sidle to lead another group of Vegas CSIs. 

Additionally returning will be Wallace Langham, who played lab tech David Hodge (through TVLine). 

Adding to the cast will be Friday Night Lights’ Matt Lauria, Paula Newsome, Mel Rodriguez, and Mandeep Dhillon. 

The arrangement’s true summation peruses: “Confronting an existential danger that could cut down the Crime Lab, a splendid new group of criminological agents should welcome back old companions and convey new methods to safeguard and serve equity in Sin City.” 

The show, set to make a big appearance in the fall, was at first scheduled to debut a year ago to match with the twentieth commemoration of the first CSI’s introduction. 

In an explanation, CBS President Kelly Kahl said: “21 years prior, we dispatched CSI and watched in wonder as this new true to life arrangement dispatched a whole kind and turned into a weighty juggernaut that actually has worldwide reverberation today.

“We are excited to invite the up and coming age of legal criminalists to the CSI mark and join them with the amazing characters from an earlier time who we actually love, including the uncommon Billy Petersen and Jorja Fox. 

“Crime Fighting innovation has progressed significantly throughout the most recent quite a long while and joined with exemplary CSI narrating, we can hardly wait to watch this new group do what they specialize in: follow the proof.” 

CSI: Vegas is yet to get an affirmed debut date.
