Dan + Shay are a country pop music duo who rose to the mainstream prominence after their hit 10,000 hours in which they also collaborated with Justin Bieber. The music video for the song premiered on 13 November 2020 and since then it has received so much love. It features Dan and Shay’s family and was the epitome of holiday cheer.
The video was off to a great start with Shay Mooney’s 3 year old son Asher announcing, “Ladies and gentlemen, Dan and Shay,” The video had a subtle warmth to it (despite the amount of snow it featured!) making it the perfect video for their first ever christmas single. You can watch the video here-
“It was cool to get in the holiday spirit a little early this year, because I think we could all use some extra positivity and cheer,” Dan said in the press release before the release of the song. “Our fans have asked for Christmas music every year, so I hope you all have as much fun listening to it as we did making it.”
The song sure met its purpose made this year a tiny bit better for all the fans. Let’s hope the end of the year is better than this year itself!
