Since Cheryl Burke, one of the show’s talented dancers, sustained a head injury during a rehearsal, dancing with the Stars’ Villains Night was nearly disarrayed.

What Happened To The Dancer?

Fortunately, Cheryl succeeded in getting the medical staff from the series all-knowing in time, for 26 October’s Live Broadcast.

In the wince-worthy behind-the-scenes video seen before the presentation, her partner AJ McLean the star of Backstreet Boys and Cheryl were performing their tango. The dancer loses her balance and retreats, smashing her head on the floor of the ballroom.

“I just saw her head touch the floor, so suddenly it happened,” said AJ about the fall of her partner. Later, it was reported that a doctor was called and Burke was checked.

Since taking the rest of the Sunday off, AJ and Cheryl came back for their psycho-themed tango with the Stars dance-floor. Despite the rehearsal misfortune, the pair scored 26 out of 30 from the judges and saved themselves from a further week of exclusion.

Cheryl acknowledged she had a “hard 24 hours” thanks to both AJ and the Dancing with the Stars team for “their support.”

“It’s been a rough 24 hours but I’m so thankful that AJ and all of you at home have supported and prayed for me and also love the rest of # DWTS crew,” she wrote on Twitter. She admired to be a part of the show.

Dancing with the Stars has started airing on the channel ABC in the USA on Monday nights. Its UK counterpart, Strictly Come Dancing, will start on BBC One this Saturday (31 October).

We hope that the hard time for Cheryl has gone and she is fit now.
