Day Break is an American web television series that was released in October 2019. The Day Break is a Post-apocalyptic series that is based on comedy-drama content. The series was released on the Netflix platform. Day Break series is created by Brad Peyton and Aron Eli Coleite which is based on the comic series by Brian Ralph. The first season had 10 episodes of average 40 -50 min duration.
The story around revolves the character of 17- year- old boy Josh Wheeler he faces all difficulty which he had in his paths to find his girlfriend. The show receives an average response from the audience as it attained ratings of 6.7 out of 10. Netflix has not renewed season 2 of Day Break which almost gave us the hint that we might not able to see the second season of Day Break.

However, if there are any chances of season 2 in the future we will see these actors in the second season as well.
WHAT WAS THE STORY ALL ABOUT?
The story highlights the character Josh Wheeler who is a 17- year boy. He studies in Canadian High school and he is searching for his missing girlfriend Sam Dean in Glendale, California. He has been accompanied by 10- year- old Angelica his former high school bully Wesley who is now a pacifist. Josh tries to defend himself from everything thrown by the world to him. He also faced Mad max style gang which were evil jocks, Amazonian warriors, Ghoulies (which are zombies like creatures) to find Sam.
WHAT COULD BE THE POSSIBLE REASON FOR CANCELATION OF SEASON 2
Aron Coleite who is one the creator of Day Break Series confirms in a tweet that season 2 of the Day Break will not be releasing. On the other hand, as per the performance of previous season, there are rumors that season 1 was not up to the expectation of the audience which further pushes the makers in not making season 2.However, no official reason for the cancelation has been announced yet.
