The American series Dead to Me is a dark comedy web and television series which is created by Liz Feldman and produced by Feldman along with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Jessica Elbaum.
This series was first premiered on Netflix, on May 3, 2019. The series comes under the genre of comedy and drama. It has also received certain awards and was nominated in various categories among which is the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards in which they received a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. It also has a good rating by IMDb which 8 out of 10. The comedy genre of the series brings out some of the issues in a twisted but meaningful way. Dead to Me revolves around the story of two main protagonists who are bonded with similar pain related to their relationship. The cast members are Christina Applegate as Jen Harding, Linda Cardellini as Judy Hale, James Marsden as Steve Wood (season 1; guest season 2), Ben Wood (season 2), Max Jenkins as Christopher Doyle, Sam McCarthy as Charlie Harding, Luke Roessler as Henry Harding.
The friendship grows between the two girls namely Jen and Judy starring Applegate and Cardellini, where Jen who is a real estate agent from Laguna Beach, California, her husband died in an accident which was actually a hit and run case, due to which she seeks help from therapy and Judy meets Jen in the therapy session who’s fiancé broke-up with her but she lies to Jen that his fiancé died from a heart attack.

The good news for the fans is that the third season is confirmed but the bad news is that this will also be the last season. With every season dropping in may with a year we can expect the season 3 arrival in the year 2021 but due to the chaos created by the pandemic, it is natural that the scheduling may get disrupted.
