The popular black comedy ‘Dead to Me’ had a fabulous season 2 on Netflix very recently. The fans had loved the acting of Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini the two lead characters of the show and in terms of income through number of hours watched on Netflix, the show is proving to be a good challenger to the show ‘Uncut Gems’. ‘Dead to Me’ has been revived for a season 3 and following is all the information available on it.
The previous two seasons of the show came in May of 2019 and 2020 respectively and following this trend season 3 should hit Netflix in May of 2021. Right now though, all things in the world have either stopped or slowed down and the production of season 3 of ‘Dead to Me’ has also slowed down a bit. Shoe creator Liz Feldman told THR that the writing of the show will start somewhere in December 2020 and will take 80 or maybe more days given the present situation. It is safe then to say that season 3 will come out somewhere in late June or early July.
The cast will include Christina Applegate as Jen, Linda Cardellini as Judy, Sam McCharthy as Charlie, Luke Roessler as Henry, Diana-Maria Riva as Ana Perez, Brandon Scott as Nick, Suzy Nakamura as Jen, Max Jenkins as Christopher, Valerie Mahaffey as Lorna, Keong Sim as Pastor and James Marsden as Ben.
Just like season 2, season 3 will also continue from the point where season 2 was left off. In the finale of season 2 Ben ran into the car of Charlie which was being driven by Jen and Judy at the time of the accident. The story will continue from this point onwards. All the stars of the show are absolutely quiet on ploy details.
The fans will have to wait till season 3 comes to Netflix to know what happens next.
