The American comedy-drama television series has been immensely successful. The film of the same name directed by Justin Simien has seen three hit seasons. Netflix has ordered 10 numbers of 30-minute episodes for the first season, which released on April 28, 2017. The second season came in on May 4, 2018, followed by the third season on August 2, 2019.

On October 2, 2019, Netflix came up with the most awaited announcement. The fourth and final season of Dear White People will see a release in late 2020.
