With the Dark Knight overriding the world with his hastily created multiverses, Superman has no other go but to recruit some villains for fighting for a greater cause. Though this is very unlike him, the extent of the issue has left him with no other choice.

The villains he finds include Joker, Mister Freeze, Killer Croc, Riddler, Clock King, Parasite, Black Manta, Penguin, Granny Goodness, Cyborg Superman, Clayface, Solomon Grundy, and Giganta.

He even recruits other villains, including Superboy-Prime, Bizarro, Black Adam, Sinestro, Star Sapphire, and Atrocitus.

Superman’s plan of action includes going back to the world and literally ripping it apart and taking away the connections with the other universes, thus destabilizing Batman.

Maybe this is the main reason he chose the villains, as they are the ones specialized at ripping the world apart. When Batman is rattled enough, the other superheroes come back to earth to fight him off.

And the plan seems to have come to full fruition. Even in the battle that followed, Superman seems to be fighting alongside the villain more than his fellow superheroes. This has made many fans wonder if Superman’s sudden interest in the dark side due to the Darkseid in him.

If that was the case, the writers seem to have made a good job at slowly incorporating that. Giving Superman his own suicide squad is the best move. If you haven’t read the comic yet, you can do so here-

Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me. At first I wrote fiction. It gave me a chance to live the different lives I’ve always wanted to. The way my friends reacted when they read my story gave me the greatest of joys. As I grew older, I realised that there are thousands of stories of people around me that deserved to be told. Then I started incorporating their stories to my fictional stories. Over the time, I leaned more towards article writing. I have always felt that writing is my super power. A power I could wield to bring joy and comfort to me and the people I care about.
