Demi Lovato is reported to be rather unhappy about ex-fiance Max Ehrich’s behavior following their breakup.
Demi Lovato ended her engagement to Ehrich after six months together and two months spent as an engaged couple. The two are supposed to have got together in March and engaged in July. The confirmation of the end of their engagement came last week.
Ehrich then claimed, in an Instagram post, that he had come to know of their breakup in a tabloid and added that Lovato’s fans were bullying him.
These posts have since been deleted. He was also said to have referenced Arianna Grande’s hit song and said “Please stop trying to thank you, next … Me” which Grande wrote after her split with Pete Davidson, after which she cheerfully moved on from her exes.
A spokesperson, on behalf of the singer, claimed that Ehrich was lying about these claims and that Demi did inform him before the news hit became public.
The insider source added, “Demi wants no contact with Max at this point. She is completely embarrassed at the way he’s been acting and putting their relationship on blast via social media. She wants nothing to do with him.”
Allegedly, the soap actor has attempted to reach out to Lovato but she is not open to this and simply wants to put this episode behind her. She has taken down all posts regarding him from her Instagram account and is reported to be spending time with family and friends since the split.
The singer has not publicly spoken up about the breakup herself but different sources have been quoted as saying different things. One said that she is quite distressed as she had really wanted to have this relationship work and is thus, spending time with family to recover.
At first, it had been claimed that they broke up so they could focus on their careers but recently, E! has cited material and reported that Lovato “didn’t know who Max truly was and didn’t think he had good intentions.”
