Annie Potts, Jean Smart, and Scott Bakula is famously known as the Designing Women are reuniting for a charitable reading of the 1986 pilot. The three stars will be reading as Mary Jo Shively, Charlene Frazier-Still field, and Ted Shively respectively. They will be joined by Sheryl Lee Ralph who will read as Mrs. Sundemeyer. After the reading, Potts and Smart will answer a Q&A session with the Designing Women’s executive producer and creator Linda Blood worth-Thomason.
The funds raised by this charitable work will be given to the Color of Change and World Central Kitchen. Color of Change is a racial injustice organization and World Central Kitchen provides nourishing meals to frontline workers, first responders, and the communities that are vulnerable to COVID 19. The special table read will be posted on the Sony Pictures Television Throw Back TV YouTube channel. Fans can also help charities by donating to them the much-needed funds.
