POSSIBLE STORYLINE OF SEQUEL
The first season was made with the list of the 90 persons who were interviewed for the documentary. The documentary series showed us about Michael Jordan’s career and the Chicago Bulls where footage from the 1997-98 Bulls season had never been aired. In the second season, we could see another star in the lead i.e. David Beckham’s showreel may be shown.
Even if only Basketball is retained, then Kobe Bryant may be featured in the sequel of The Last Dance because his accidental death traumatized the whole world. Featuring all about Kobe Bryant will be again appreciated by the critics and audiences.
RELEASE DATE AND CAST
Because of the massive appreciation recorded from the viewers, there are high chances of the series getting a sequel at least a year gap. As we know, in the pandemic situation the filming can’t be possible swiftly. So, fans can expect season 2 in the mid or end of 2021.
The main protagonist can be David Beckham but the other main and supporting cast aren’t yet confirmed.
