In 2018, Netflix released an animated sitcom titled Disenchantment developed by Josh Weinstein and Matt Groening. The story revolved around the Princess Tiabeanie bean whose marriage is with Prince Merkimer.
Disenchantment started in August 2018 and the second season was officially ordered in October and this time there was a large gap in between the release time and the renewal time maybe because the season two was already in the development stage.
The order from Netflix for a ten-episode Disenchantment season two before the original run and why post credit scenes were not included explains that the season two was under development.
The twenty episodes of both the parts were commissioned at the same time which gave the assumption that the two would early but the wait has stretched than expected and the part two of disenchantment did not arrive till September 2019.
Luckily order has been releasing by Netflix that the show would have more seasons until at least 2021.
Here is what we know about when the thriller could be expected.
Dischantment is expected to be divided into two parts and we can expect the release of season two by 2021.
Though much is not released about the season two, the massive cliffhanger at the end of the first season gives lot of assumption about the second season putting the fate of all the characters in the series in question.
Though there could be some kind of resolving done due to the nature of animation there would be lot of questions which would be answered in the season two.
It is great news that Netflix has renewed the second season of the animated series due to high ratings and because of the appreciation for the story creativity and the animation.
The creator has mentioned that he is very happy to making more episodes and expressed his joy over the renewal. Season two which is expected to released by 2021 is sure to have lot of medieval hijinks for its fans.
