Disney+ recently confirmed that a new series based on the 1988 Willow movie will be continued as a series. Warwick Davis will be directing and acting as the character of Willow in the series. John M. Chu will be the executive producer.
Bob Dolman will be the screenwriter and the series will be a Lucas Film Production. The Chu said that Willow is something that every kid in the 80s in China connected with and loved Willow.
It is a dream comes true for him to be working on this project. The director of the series Davis also said that he is extremely happy to revive his character.
He feels that by reviving this character in the form of a series he is doing a great job of giving back the childhood memories of many kids who are now adults.
