The year is 2021, and the show ‘Houses with History’ is about renovating historic homes. The episode features historian Mike Lemieux, expert carpenter Rich Soares, and designer Jennifer Macdonald, a devoted trio that saves beautiful old residences in Plymouth.
One of their main goals is to save the neighbourhood’s historic homes and buildings. However, more than merely renovating is the focus of this show. Its primary objective is to help preserve and restore the history of some of America’s oldest historic residences.
The team scans Plymouth County, Massachusetts, and the neighbouring wild areas. In the process, they find and renovate historic residences from the 18th and 19th centuries, all while maintaining their natural past.
