Fans are eagerly waiting for the Doctor Who episode of the Christmas 2021, looking forward BBC to announce the airing date. A much speculated date is on the New Year’s day following previous year’s trend. Interestingly the last time the episode came out in Christmas was in 2017. We would be seeing David Bradley as the first doctor, and Peter Capaldi , the twelfth doctor.
As we all know Jodie is all set to leave, and that too in the Christmas episode. Let’s hope she leaves a worthy successor behind, either Bradley Walsh or Tosin Cole.
It is known that the character of Doctor would be feature Jodie Whittaker, and Yaz will be played by Mandip Gill. However a new addition, Dan, would be featuring in the coming episode which would be played by the comedian, John Bishop.
John commented on his role that, “If I could tell my younger self that one day I would be asked to step on board the TARDIS, I would never have believed it.
It’s an absolute dream come true to be joining Doctor Who and I couldn’t wish for better company than Jodie and Mandip.”
