Dwayne Johnson will be receiving Honor from Hollywood Critics Association


The Hollywood Critics Association will honour Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at the 4th HCA Film Awards on 5 March. Dwayne “The Rock”

The Jumanji: Willingly welcome to the Jungle star will be presented with the HCA Trailblazer Award to honour actors and moviemakers who speak and argue for social change.

“Dwayne Johnson represents everything that stands for our Trailblazer Award. He goes beyond and beyond many important things in the world and uses his voice for the most important thing in a time, “In a statement, HCA President Scott Menzel said.

 Through their Seven Bucks Productions banner, Johnson and business partner Dany Garcia have supported projects such as the Titan Games, Disney’s Jungle Cruise and the Universal Hobbs & Shaw. NBC is also airing Young Rock, a situation comedy based on Johnson’s life’s remarkable events.

But in addition to Hollywood production, Johnson donated to the front line and first responders during the pandemic and used his voice and recognition to support the movement in Black Lives. Johnson also supports the Make-A-Wish foundation for many years.

On the official HCA Facebook and YouTube channels, the 4th Annual HCA Film Awards will run virtually on March 5.
