Dwight in Shining Armor has seen successful three seasons with thirty episodes making it ten each. Fans who had appreciated three seasons are now eagerly waiting for season four. This series is a family fantasy television show in BYUtv.
The first season was out on 18th March 2019 in America and the second season in fall 2019. The third and fourth season were signed in June 2019 and season three was aired in March 2020. It’s all about teenagers of today’s date who awakens a princess who was under a magical spell for 1000 years.
Dwight the teenager accidentally falls in the underground chamber and finds himself on Gretta, the gothic princess. The magic spell is broken when Dwight kisses sleeping Gretta, something similar to sleeping beauty of fairy tales.
As the magic ends the bad man who was behind casting this spell and taking away the princess’s kingdom also comes to life and wants to create problems for her again. Dwight then becomes Gretta’s knight in shining armor and protects her. It is a beautiful story and fans have appreciated it. But what happens to season four.
The good news is season four will be soon on screens as per the official statement by the makers. The fear of a delay due to pandemic is evident but we are keeping our fingers crossed. As of now, no delay has been informed by the team of Dwight in Shining Armor.
We have been greatly entertained by the cast in the last three seasons and we expect to see them again. Hopefully, we will get to see as the cast is Morgan Siegel as Dwight, Caitlin Carmichael as Gretta, and Joel McCrary as Baldric.
As far as the story goes for season four, we have an update from the managing director of BYUtv who said the world of fantasy has charming and attractive characters. New and rich stories can be woven with a lot of more possibilities that can be told. Season four will show more magic and mythology with the entry of family friend Hijinks.
We can expect a connect from season three to season four and the new season should have a story to delve around on similar lines with new character Hijinks.
